Terms of Sale “Air Packs”
Terms of Sale:PICK-UP: MUST HAVE PRE-ARRANGED APPOINTMENT Liability: The item offered for sale and its description has been compiled from available data, but there is no guaranty or warranty on the part of the City of Plainwell relative thereto as to quantity, kind, character, description, condition, and suitability for use for which it may be desired or in any other respect whatsoever. All material is sold “as is and where is,” and must be removed at purchaser’s risk and expense. All sales will be final. Inspection before bidding is encouraged. The City may withdraw an item at any time from the auction sale. The City of Plainwell assumes no liability for inaccurate or erroneous descriptions contained in any descriptive material pertaining to the auctioned equipment. Pick-Up: Call Director Bill Bomar at 269-685-9858 to make arrangements for pick-up or inspection. All equipment is to be removed at the risk and expense of the purchaser. The equipment must be removed without City staff participation.
Time Limit: If the purchased item(s) is not picked up in 7 days after notice (unless other arrangements have been made) the City of Plainwell reserves the right to retain the equipment and re-list the equipment for auction.
Payment: The City of Plainwell Treasurer will accept Certified Cashier’s Check, Cash and Money Orders. Payment will be made at The City of Plainwell Treasurer. All items must be paid in full at Plainwell City Hall @ 141 N Main St, Plainwell, MI 49080 prior to pick-up. A valid picture I.D. must be presented at the time of payment.
Governmental Entity/School: If the successful bidder is another governmental entity including schools, that entity’s check will be adequate form of payment.
