LIABILITY:    All items are sold “As Is” and “Where is” without warranty either expressed or implied.   Condition of this property is used and untested to any degree.  Therefore, the City of Novi offers no warranty whatsoever as to the condition or fitness for any use or purpose. 

The City of Novi may withdraw an item at any time from the auction sale.  The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

All sales will be final.  Descriptions are believed to be accurate.  The City of Novi assumes no liability for inaccurate or erroneous descriptions contained in any descriptive material pertaining to the auctioned items. 

PAYMENT METHODS:  The Seller (City of Novi) accepts Cashiers Check or Exact Cash.  All equipment and/or items purchased must be paid in full.  No personal, out-of-state, or Canadian checks will be accepted.  Cashiers checks/Money orders should be made out to the “City of Novi”.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

Purchaser must have a prearranged appointment to make payment and pick up item(s).   You must email barold@cityofnovi.org to arrange an appointment.  All prearranged appointments must be scheduled and item(s) picked up within SEVEN (7) business days of invoice date.  Payments will be accepted during the hours of 9 am – 4 pm only.

PICKUP INSTRUCTIONS:

All purchased items are to be removed at the risk and expense of the purchaser.  Buyer must bring a picture ID and a copy of the invoice with them.  Mailing/delivery services cannot be provided.  The items must be removed without City staff participation.

TIME LIMIT:  If item(s) are not picked up at the prearranged scheduled date and time, the City of Novi reserves the right to retain the item(s) and re-list them on the auction website.
