CONDITION: USED, GOOD CONDITION
SALES TAX: All items sold will be charged the applicable State of Michigan Sales Tax (currently 6%).
SALES TAX EXEMPTION: If your business entity is exempt from payment of sales tax, you must provide a copy of the exemption certificate at the time of payment or you will be charged the applicable State of Michigan Sales Tax.
BUYERS PREMIUM: A 5% BUYER’S PREMIUM WILL BE ADDED TO THE FINAL SALE PRICE.
LIABILITY: All items are sold “As Is” and “Where is” without warranty either expressed or implied. Condition of this property is used. Therefore, the City of Livonia offers no warranty whatsoever as to the condition or fitness for any use or purpose.
All sales will be final. Descriptions are believed to be accurate.
The City of Livonia may withdraw an item at any time from the auction sale. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
INSPECTION: Items may be inspected Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 4:00pm at the pick-up location specified herein. Items may be inspected by appointment only. Please contact:

PAYMENT METHODS: The Seller accepts "Money Order/Cashier’s Check" or Exact Cash only. All items purchased must be paid in full. No personal, out-of-state, or Canadian checks will be accepted.
1. You will be notified via email if you are awarded the auction item. Please print 2 copies of your invoice and bring them with you to remit payment for your item(s).

Make checks payable to the City of Livonia.
Purchaser must have a prearranged appointment to make payment and pick up item(s).
NOTE: Items must be paid for at the Treasurer’s Office located in City Hall (33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, MI) before picking up items from the Police Department.
Items may be picked up Monday – Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and before 4 p.m. on days the City offices are open.
At time of Pick Up, a copy of your paid invoice must be presented to the department to confirm proof of payment.
All purchased items are to be removed at the risk and expense of the purchaser. CITY STAFF ARE NOT PERMITTED TO OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSISTING WITH REMOVAL OF ITEMS FROM THE BUILDING. NO CITY EQUIPMENT CAN BE USED TO ASSIST WITH REMOVAL OF EQUIPMENT FROM THE BUILDING. Pick up shall be arranged within seven (7) days of award notification. Pick shall be by appointment only with the contact person identified. Items must be picked up in person with a valid picture I.D. Mailing/delivery services cannot be provided.
TIME LIMIT: If item(s) are not picked up at the prearranged scheduled date and time, the City of Livonia reserves the right to retain the item(s) and re-list them on the auction website. If a conflict occurs which will not allow you to pick up the item(s), please contact the City of Livonia. Failure to pay for and pick the item up within the required time may result in bidder being blocked from bidding on the City’s auctions in the future.
