Bidding Opportunities



The City of long Beach is proud to announce that they have moved to The Long Island Municipal Bid System!  This change is effective November 3, 2006.

All vendor and bid information has also been moved.  All information can be accessed from the vendor main menu after you login.  New questions were added to the account information area, therefore we would like to request all vendors to please login and update their account information as soon as possible.

If you need assistance logging in, you can request your username and password by clicking on the link to the "Vendor Login" area from the Long Island Bid System.  This link can be found under our logo.   The new home page can be found at www.longislandbidsystem.com

Vendors are also welcome to call BidNet's Support Department if they need assistance.  BidNet can be reach at 1-800-677-1997.  Please ask for extension #214.

We are excited to be part of this new system as it allows vendors many new options.  Just a few are:

• More Bid Opportunties - more agencies are joining this system in the new future.
  
• Vendors can easily respond online to quotes and attach supporting documents!
  
• Easier search options to find the bids that match your profile from your main menu.
  
• Lots of new types of awards information!
