The Long Island Municipal Bid System
The Long Island Municipal Bid System (LIMBS), offers state and local government
agencies located throughout Long Island New York the ability to notify businesses of bid and contract opportunities.
Suppliers that register have easy access to bid
opportunities as they are published by the participating agencies.
This system went live November 1, 2006, to allow suppliers the ability to register and agencies the
ability to request membership. As such, it does not contain a large amount of bid history or participating
agencies yet, but membership is expected to grow quickly. As more agencies join this system, you will
see their bid information posted here as well, so continue to check back and watch us grow!
The City of Long Beach moved to this new system, as it offers more advanced technology than their
former bid system.
Suppliers who would like to do business with any of the participating agencies are
strongly encouraged to register. You may do so by using the link to the "Supplier Registration" area above.
