BidNet Can Now Assist Agencies to List Their Surplus Auctions Online!
Welcome to the Surplus Auction Service! BidNetŪ is pleased to announce that all of our participating agencies and any new agencies are welcome to use this new system to sell their excess surplus equipment online.
Our system is straight forward, which makes it very easy to use, extremely cost-effective, and can significantly increase the revenue government agencies currently receive from selling their unwanted surplus equipment. Unlike some Surplus Auction services, BidNetŪ does not require a minimum dollar value before allowing an agency (i.e., seller) to use this system to list an item for sale. Agency members can list items as small as a single desk, or as large as a Boeing 747.
BidNet has a link to Surplus Auctions on your procurement site for you (the sellers) to list your surplus auctions. Every auction will be promoted on both the National BidNet Website and a new area under the participating agencies online bid system site. All registrations for interested buyers (i.e., bidders), will be captured into a separate database, while the existing bid system database will continue to be reserved for only suppliers that are interested in submitting bids on your Bids, Quotes and Proposals. All Surplus Auctions will be fully supported by BidNet's Support Department in the event any agency requires assistance.
